How It Works

Imperator connects Rock’s Observability feature to our telemetry, giving you real-time insight into the health and performance of your Azure-hosted environment.

We handle the setup, create a visual map of your infrastructure, and begin monitoring key metrics like CPU, memory, backups, SSL status, and more. Automated alerts notify your team (and ours) when issues arise, so you can act quickly. Plus, quarterly health checks keep your system optimized and running smoothly over time.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Does Imperator work with cloud providers other than Microsoft Azure?
No. Imperator is purpose-built to monitor Rock environments hosted in Microsoft Azure. At this time, it is not compatible with other cloud hosting platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
  2. What server configurations does Imperator support?
Imperator is designed specifically to support single production environments running Rock, as configured according to Triumph Tech’s best practices. At this time, Web Farm configurations or other non-standard or complex infrastructure setups are not supported. If significant changes are made to your infrastructure after the service begins, monitoring may need to be re-evaluated or the service discontinued.
  3. Does Imperator monitor the Rock application itself?
Imperator focuses on the infrastructure required to run Rock, including the virtual machines, database, and related Azure services. While it collects Observability data from Rock, it does not cover direct application support or customization of Rock itself. Any support related to Rock configuration or code would fall under a separate agreement.
  4. Can our Rock Observability feature be connected to our own telemetry service like New Relic?
The Observability feature only supports one connection. To ensure consistency and reliability, Imperator uses Triumph Tech’s centralized telemetry service. We’ll work with you to transition your monitoring to our account as part of the onboarding process.
  5. What’s included in the quarterly Infrastructure Well Check?
Each quarter, our team conducts a comprehensive review of your Azure environment, identifying risks, performance bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization. You’ll receive a detailed report with actionable recommendations to keep your system healthy and performant.
  6. Can Imperator help us troubleshoot issues with Rock or Azure?
Imperator’s primary function is monitoring and alerting. However, if an issue arises, you may engage our team for additional support under a separate agreement or a retainer. Imperator’s Observability setup ensures faster diagnosis and resolution when troubleshooting is needed.
  7. Is this a 24/7 support service?
Monitoring is continuous and automated, but any manual reviews or communications from our team are conducted during normal business hours. Critical alerts will still be generated and visible to your team around the clock.
