Here’s what’s new in Rock’s GitHub for Pre-Alpha Release v17.0.35, released on 1/8/2025.

v16.8 Highlights

• A new optional Lava merge field, <!--[[ SignatureDetails ]]-->, has been added to the Electronic Signatures templates. This field allows you to insert a signer's final signature directly into the document, enabling the signature to appear throughout the document rather than being limited to the bottom.
• Issue 6130 Fixed a bug with the Registration Instance List block where an error was thrown when filtering an attribute with an attribute key longer than 250 characters. 
• Issue 6133 Fixed a bug in the Obsidian Event Registration block where an individual's saved ACH payment option was still selectable, even when ACH payments were disabled in the Financial Gateway settings.
• Issue 6135 Fixed a bug in the Benevolence Type List, Benevolence Request Detail, Obsidian Benevolence Type List, and the Obsidian Benevolence Request Detail blocks where security groups for each type were not properly honored. This issue allowed visibility and editing access to anyone with page access, regardless of their security group permissions.
• Issue 6139 Resolved an issue in the Group Attendance Detail block where the inactive schedules were still selectable.
• Issue 6143 Resolved an issue in the Sign-Ups Register Block where group requirements intended only for children were applied to adult group members.
• Issue 6147 Fixed a bug in the Obsidian Group Registration Block where the workflow configured in the block settings was launched before the group member entity was added to the database. As a result, several workflow activities failed due to the missing group member entity.

v17.0 Highlights

• Issue 6144 Resolved an issue where the Rock Clean-up job did not complete workflows initiated by a Connection Request that exceeded the workflow type’s "Complete Workflow Retention Period". Attempts to delete them manually resulted in an error.
